Eastern Bluebirds rarely visit my feeders. Their nearest normal habitat is a community farm about a mile away. But the deep snow forced them to forage further than usual. Five Bluebirds took over a suet cylinder feeder.

One of my resident Carolina Wrens was a bit perplexed. It eventually got a turn on the feeder though.

This snow is going to disappear fast. The forecast is for 2-3 inches (5-7.6 cm) of rain tonight. New England weather swings can be wild.

A little snow and all of a sudden the birds like our feeders again!
