We haven’t had snow yet but we have had Snow Buntings. And they have been posing for the camera.

The Buntings need to be alert for this Peregrine Falcon flying over the marsh but don’t need to worry about the Northern Harrier hovering as she looks for mice.

Snowy Owls show up in all sorts of places from roof tops to a post in the middle of the marsh. This Snowy Owl decided to take a rest on the rocks at low tide. He seemed to be just hanging out and watching the surf. Of course he was going to have to move a couple of hours after this picture was taken. The tide was coming in and swimming is not his forte.

Nice group…really like the Snow Buntings!
