This is a little update to the post I made a week ago about a Snowy Egret and a Yellowlegs foraging for food together. I noted that larger groups of egrets, yellowlegs and cormorants will work together to herd schools of fish. This is a small group of Snowy Egrets and Double-crested Cormorants chasing a school of minnows that I photographed a few days ago. The second shot includes a Great Egret that was in their path and took advantage of the situation as it passed.

The group continued to the end of the pond and then went back and started again. They were having a very successful morning.
